Native of the Carson Valley. Graduate of Douglas High School. B.S. in Political Science from Cal State University, Stanislaus. Played college basketball for University Of Nevada Frosh, JC ball at the College of the Siskiyous and one year on Stanislaus JV's. Head coach at Smith Valley High School in 2004 and was named Coach of the Year in the Western 1A. 2013-14 will be his 7th year at the helm of SLHS. Named Coach of the Year in 2012-13 season. Currently an AAU coach for Carson Valley Hoops. Since 2001 has served as President of Warren Reed Insurance, Carson Valley's oldest commercial enterprise (Est 1947). Also owns and operates Minden Food Company (Est 2004) with his wife of 31 years, Dana. Five children Christine (teacher in Redding, Ca., A.G. (grad student at Indiana Univ.); Taylor (Insurance analyst in Sacramento, Ca.): Benjamin (student at Montana State Univ.) and Thomas (sophmore at Douglas High School).
