State is this weekend at Carson High School, come and support our athletes as the compete for a state title!

Camille Cassidy Takes First!

Camille took first in the 400m at the Fernley Invite. Also, Chase Johnson took 1st in shot put and broke his own record with a throw of 49'7"

Football Starts Fall of 2014

Football is scheduled to start it's 1st probationary season in the fall of 2014. Football will stay on a probationary status until it is invited into the NIAA and then it will be considered a varsity sport. There will be a meeting for students and parents on May 15th at 6:30pm.

Baseball’s Last Two Games of the Year

Baseball will wrap up their season next week with a game on Tuesday, May 6th at Smith Valley High School and on Wednesday, May 7th at Silver Sage. Come out and support the team!

Baseball’s Inaugural Season

The baseball team may not be winning every game but they sure are enjoying the game. "Every run batted in sounds like we just won the game, the kids get into it and encourage one another." Says Head Coach, Howard Houghton. The kids may not realize they are a big part of this historical season but they are taking full advantage of the opportunity to have fun.

7 School Records Broken!

7 school records were broken at the Carson Invite on Saturday, April 26th.

Those records are:

Katy Cobb- 100 Hurdles

Jusdan Mondragon- 300 Hurdles

Camille Cassidy- 200m and 400m

Michael Patrick- Triple Jump

Chase Johnson- Shotput and Discus

Regional Standings

Varsity Boys are currently 4th behind and the Varsity Girls are currently 6th.

Boys Standings, 1st- Mineral County, 2nd- Virgina City, 3rd- Whittell.

Girls Standings, 1st- Pyramid Lake, 2nd- Smith Valley, 3rd- Coleville, 4th- Mineral County.

Hamilton Leads Falcons to Victory!

Saturday night’s contest against the Smith Valley Bulldogs proved to an easy win for the falcons. Led by junior, Jerod Hamilton had 29 points. The Falcons started with a full court press and the Bulldogs could not with stand the pressure. It was an over powering performance for the Falcons and propelled them in 3rd place in their region.
