At the NIAA Northern Nevada Regional Championships, Sierra Lutheran did extremely well, qualifying for the state meet on November 7th and continuing their season. To qualify, Sierra had to be one of the top 4 qualifying teams.
Jared Marchegger ran a time of 17:54, earning 2nd place for Division III boys. Ricky McNeely placed 7th with a time of 18:45. Steven Flanagan placed 15th with a time of 19:47. Tyler Waite earned 19th place with a time of 20:30. Daniel Barulich ran a time of 21:46, placing 29th.
For the varsity girls, Elaina Marchegger was at the head of the pack, placing 1st with a time of 20:25. Clare Davison placed 8th with a time of 22:32. Right behind in 9th was Emily McNeely with a time of 23:12. Taylor Davison placed 10th with a time of 23:18. Finally, Emma Herron placed 17th with a time of 24:32.
